MEET KRISTIE

Hi, I'm Kristie. I build the systems your business is missing.

I'm a CPA turned operations strategist. I spent 16 years inside the numbers before I realized something — the problem was never the books. It was everything behind them. The clunky processes. The missing SOPs. The workflows that lived entirely in someone's head.

The short version leaves out the part that actually matters. Scroll down — the real story starts with my dad and a Renaissance festival.

How I Got Here

It started at a Renaissance festival, a spreadsheet, and a dad who never wrote anything down.

My dad spent decades running a Renaissance festival. Costumes, stages, entire worlds built from scratch — the kind of creative magic that stops you in your tracks. I got to watch him pour everything into it. Literally, everything.

But here's the thing that no one saw from the outside: nothing was documented. Not one process. Not one system. The whole operation ran on his grit, his memory, and way too many late nights. If he wasn't there? It didn't run.

I loved him for it. I also saw what it cost him.

And somewhere in all of that, I made a quiet decision: I wanted to be the person who makes the behind-the-scenes run as beautifully as the front of house. I became a CPA to support entrepreneurial growth. I got my Master's in Accounting. Spent years in corporate finance — senior accountant, then controller, eventually building operational standards inside a Fortune 500 company.

I got really, really good at looking at a business and seeing exactly where time, money, and energy were leaking. That's what 16 years inside the numbers teaches you. Not just how to balance the books, but how to read the story a business is telling about itself, even when the owner can't see it yet. This is what I tell client's and it's the thing I had to learn myself:

"This problem was never the numbers. The numbers were a symptom. The real problem was always the operations — the missing systems, the undocumented processes, the workflows that lived entirely in one person's head."

And then I started seeing it everywhere.

The entrepreneurs I admired most — coaches, consultants, service providers building incredible things online — were stuck in the same trap my dad had been in. Revenue going up. Hours going up faster. No systems. No documentation. Just them, holding the whole operation together by sheer force of will, hoping nothing broke while they slept.

I knew the fix, I'd spent over a decade building it inside other people's businesses, from small operations to Fortune 500 infrastructure. The problem was never a bad business model or a lack of hustle. It was a missing layer. The systems, the SOPs, the workflows that let a business actually run without every decision flowing through one person.

So I started Systematic Mind. I took everything I'd learned — from the inside of businesses, from the books, from building systems at the corporate level — and made it accessible for the business owners who actually need it most.

I'm still early in this chapter. I don't have hundreds of client stories to show you yet. However, I have 16 years of walking into a business and understanding exactly what's going on before anyone tells me — the places where time is leaking, where energy is going, where the whole thing is held together by one person's sheer will. I have the discipline that comes from being held to the highest operational standards, and I have a real belief that your business should work around your life. Not the other way around.

If you've built something great and the backend just hasn't caught up yet... that's exactly where I come in.

Beyond the Business

The person behind the systems

I built this business around a real life — not the other way around. Here's what that actually looks like.

Mom Who Means It

My son is the reason this business has real boundaries. Car singing, road trip audiobooks, quality time that actually feels like quality time — those aren't nice-to-haves. They're built into the system. On purpose.

Trail Lover

Hiked from Utah/Arizona border to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon — and I'm still chasing that feeling. The best ideas don't come at a desk. They come when you're miles from your laptop, moving through something bigger than your to-do list. I schedule trail time the same way I schedule client calls — with intention, not as an afterthought.

Pockets Enthusiast

If it doesn't have pockets, I don't want it. Truly. I bring that same energy to everything — functional over fancy, practical over pretty. But honestly? Both is nice.

How I Work

A few things I believe about business

These aren't values on a poster in a break room somewhere. They're the filter I run every decision through — mine and yours.

Define Before You Build

I start with the vision — what do you want the experience to look like? For your clients and for you. I need to understand the full picture before touching a single system. Start with the vision for the problem you're trying to solve. That's what makes the fix stick.

Custom, Not Cookie-Cutter

Templates are starting points — not solutions. Your business has its own rhythms, team dynamics, and real-life capacity. I build for how things actually work in your world, not some theoretical best-case scenario.

I Build the Thing

I don't hand you a 50-page strategy doc and wish you luck. I build the systems, write the SOPs, and set up the workflows. Then I stay until your team can actually run them — because documentation that nobody uses isn't a system. It's a filing cabinet.

Let's Talk

Built something great but the backend
hasn't caught up?

That's exactly where I come in. Let's take a look at what's going on behind the scenes — and I'll show you what's possible when your systems actually match your ambition.
